PAMANA National Council conducted this Strategic Planning Workshop to update one another and keep track of the new leadership with the status of operations and accomplishments of the Alliance since its birth, as well as to level off with the new leaders on the direction that PAMANA wishes to take.

The objectives were:
(1) To review and refine the existing strategic management plan of PAMANA for another five years;
(2) To redesign and develop a conceptual framework of network management mechanism that will ensure protection of marine sanctuaries at an ecosystem level;

(4) To develop resource mobilization strategy for PAMANA sustainability.

Eighteen (18) Officers and Members of the Council attended the workshop. The first two days were for the Strategic Planning review and refinement.
